September 2025 – A Month of Beliefs & Learning

Bonjour lecteurs! Can you believe that Autumn has officellement started? Time to reflect on the last few weeks. In many ways, September 2025 was a quiet month after a busy summer. In this new monthly highlights, I share what we’ve been up to lately. I realigned my intentions after concentrating on family life over the school holidays. It has been all about learning and believing in my abilities. Regardez!

The End Of The Summer

We were not ready to let go of summer yet. Oui, Stanley was back to school on the second (he is now in year 5?! Can you believe it…), but we still made the most of the sunshine while it was there.

Au programme, we visited Thanet on the new bus route all the way to Minnis Bay. Such a fun day by the seaside!

We splashed in the water, had a cheeky ice cream, stopped by the arcades and explored Thanet further on the top deck bus. Such a good day out in Kent. You should definitely check it out next year!

The Routine Of Life

Other than that, September 2025 was a quiet month filled with books, walks in the country and a cheeky day out now and then.

Stanley has joined a new swimming class and it’s a delight to see his progress. It’s probably my favourite club of the week; I find being by the water always so calming and therapeutic.

There is something so magical and peaceful about the water. But I also love being in the country. It felt amazing to get back to my morning walks after dropping him off school.

Our weeks were made of school, work and lots of after school clubs. He is doing like 4 at the moment, so I am on full mummy mode.

But Also a Bit Of Glam

But I also love going into town and get a bit of glam. I was actually supposed to go into London more, but I had to cancel many events due to the strikes. Not to worry! I had some beautiful evenings out at The Marlowe Theatre to see The Party Girls.

And I also took Stanley to London to see Hercules The Musical. Add a cheeky brunch in Bankside and we had a lovely dose of glam for the first half of September.

 Life In Kent

Sooner rather than later, Autumn showed up and I made the most of slow moments. This period of the year tends to be quite busy with work after the summer break. So my days were quite simple, yet lovely and full of happiness.

September 2025, Monthly Highlights, The Frenchie Mummy, Canterbury, Reading

I would start the day with a walk, lots of work, before picking him up et voilà! It was quite uneventful in a way, but still learning and improving in the background.

September 2025, Monthly Highlights, The Frenchie Mummy, Canterbury, Life in Kent, Sushi

I took Stanley to see Le Cirque Eloize in Canterbury. We had a little date, just the 2 of us with sushi before. He’s growing up so fast, so I am making the most of it before he turns into a teen and finds me too cringe to hang out with…

Friends & Food

Funny way to title my next section, eh? Well, I think they go rather well together! En plus, that’s what the third week of September 2025 looked like.

I went to Sandgate to catch up with my friend Angy and I enjoyed another beautiful brunch in Kent.

But I also made it to London, where I stopped by Harvey Nichols to see another girlfriend of mine. I might have been distracted by the handbags section at Victoria Beckham (how gorgeous is this leather number?!).

Plus, finishing the day in Notting Hill to try the latest fashion Afternoon Tea with Biscuiteers and Lulu Guinness was rather fun. How beautiful is it?! I tested with another girlfriend of mine while talking about the good old days!

Not The Perfect Ending

Bien sûr, the Universe always reminds you to be humble and when it’s too good to be true, some difficultés come up. The last week of September did not spare me. My website was down and I had all sorts of problems with my server, which was a pain to sort out.

We also had some stuff going on at home and my mind was all frazzled and worried. It’s been an emotional week where doubts and negative thoughts took control of me. I did not sleep well and I felt rather unsettled all week.

It can sometimes be difficile to stop those negative voices in your head. I had to control them while keeping on top of work. I don’t think I have been extremely productive over the last few days, but we are getting there.

September 2025 – A Month of Beliefs & Learning

I think the miserable weather has taken a bit of its toll on me. But I have not given up! I keep going, I go out for walks and get some fresh air even if the sun is nowhere to be seen.

September 2025 has been a month of alignment and slow days. I usually love our life to be busier (I still went to the theatre 3 times, so not too bad). But it was actually perfect this way. I learned a lot in many aspects of my life. Actually, I feel that I have grown and improved hugely over the last few weeks.

I reconnected with myself and I believe in myself and my abilities more. Everything inspired me and helped me grow: affirmations, books, podcasts, meditations, TV shows, walks, but also people in my life and their journey. I’ve changed quite a bit my perception on life last month. Is it because I just turned 40 and something is shifting inside me? I observe others around me, their life and experiences and I feel like I am learning so much from it. It’s been an interesting one where I somehow feel stronger and more aware of what I should expect of life.

September 2025, Monthly Highlights, The Frenchie Mummy, Life in Kent,

If I was to sum up September 2025, it would have to be a month of beliefs and learning. How would you describe yours?

I can’t wait for the cosiness that comes with October. I will use it to plan ahead for 2026. Yes, already mentioning next year… See you there!

Disclosure: This post might feature some sponsored content I recently published but it is merely a list of my highlights of the month! This a post where I share some reflections as a mum in the country and in London. I hope it will inspire you to get on more family adventures.
