Piccolo Baby Food

Piccolo is a super organic baby food brand with 100% natural ingredients.

Cat Gazzoli, the founder is all about delicious but healthy food. She was brought up in the Mediterranean way. She believes in a varied diet, including plenty of fruit and veg, pasta, pulses and a little meat. And having her family around a table full of good food! And she wanted our little ones to be part of this, from a young age.

With the help of the Food Education Foundation, whose mission is to help busy parents to give their children a nutritious start in life, Piccolo created a range of delicious organic purées to introduce babies to new and exciting flavours. That is how it all started.

The love of good food and a desire to support parents in the journey that is weaning is at heart for the brand.

We had the chance to meet Cat and it is pretty clear that she loves food and wants to share her passion with mums and dads! Like moi, she likes a bit of cheese and having some good time with her family.

The One for One Campaign

We really like Piccolo! Not only this baby food brand has healthy and delicious food for your children, but it also has a clear desire to help!

In October last year, it launched the One for One Campaign. Because no child should go hungry!

The label has teamed up with some of Britain’s top food banks such as Trussell Trust, and children’s charities to make sure the little ones get the food they need.

Indeed, they donated 100000 pouches to thousands of hungry under 5s through a series of grassroots events, social campaigns, in-store outreach and PR activity.

It was one of the largest standalone charitable projects Piccolo has embarked on at the time!

Cat Gazzoli knew that feeding babies can be stressful and she really wanted to support those who did need help by donating a Piccolo pouch for every pouch bought.

  • Piccolo Pots – Suitable for Stage 3 and above, Picollo Pots are a delicious range of meals based on textured grains with some vegetables! The pots are split so that the nutrients are kept and the grains preserve their texture. They remind me of my childhood with some great Mediterranean recipes that my mum would use.

  • Mango & Coconut Squares – Is your little one easily peckish? Baba would never stop eating if I was not keeping an eye on him. Those snacks are delicious. Parfaits for teething babies needing something soft to gum, or hungry ones needing a quick bite in between meals. These squares are also a great way to introduce finger food to your little one or a nice snack to share with la famille! Ask Grumpy Boyfriend. He loves them too!
