Many of you noticed how much fun Baba was having while assembling our new Swyft Armchair. I can now reveal all about this super fab brand! Have a look at this cool concept and I share with your our thoughts.
Swyft – The Flat-Pack Revolution
Et oui! When it is about Swyft, I described it as a flat-pack revolution.
Le concept est super simple.
Indeed, Swyft is the next generation of furniture designed with taste. Each piece (sofa or armchair) is made and delivered to meet your needs without compromising on la qualité.
The team behind Lombok and The Ochre House (two London based hand-crafted famous furniture brands) have now created some beautiful and stylish products for you to decorate your home.
Simple to assemble, exit the worry that it might not go through the door when delivered!
Our New Swyft Armchair
Last week, Swyft gave us the challenge to assemble our very own armchair. It arrived all in pieces for us to make the decorative puzzle ?
At first, I must admit I was a bit worried as it looked so huge like that! But the fact that you then have to assemble yourself your new piece of decor is so clever!
Indeed, I decided to have our new Swyft armchair upstairs in our main bedroom and it was so easy to get the pieces up like that!
The Assembly
Made of a total of 4 pieces and the legs, we also had a short manual to follow. Our chair arrived all packed in individual boxes and wrapped in yellow packaging for extra protection.
So no scratches! Pas de problèmes during the delivery!
You first put the legs onto the seat part and the rest is so easy! It literally took me a few minutes to put it all together. Plus, Baba helped me too, bien sûr!
Et voilà! Regardez le résulat! I am so pleased with it!
I went for a teal version in velvet and it looks so luxurious! Once all the parts are clipped according to its unique locking mechanism, it looks gorgeous!
And you don’t even need any tool! C’est fabuleux!
Swyft Armchair – Le Verdict
I am so pleased with our new Swyft Armchair!
- it can be delivered to anywhere, even the tightest spaces
- it is so simple to assemble
- no tool needed
- the armchair is conformed to safety regulations
- Swyft sofas are built using Forest Stewardship Council certified wood
- the plastic packaging is also biodegradable
- it looks fabulous and it is mega comfy
More importantly, when we move house or if I decide to get the armchair in another room, I can do it all on my own! All I need to do is to disassemble the parts and I can rebuild the armchair in a few minutes!
In terms of prices, armchairs like this can retail between £400 and £900. Our Swyft Armchair costs £595, so it has a very good retail price!
So c’est un succés! I did not select a sofa when Swyft asked me to test its products as we already have one that we bought less than 2 years ago. But if I am to get a new one, I would definitely consider Swyft! It is so easy and it looks really stunning!
Convenience and style at once! I like flat-pack pieces like that! So swift and straightforward to put together!
