Une photo, une histoire #1

I decided to start a series of posts with a picture and the little story behind it. It won’t be a regular thing. But sometimes, there are some photos that I love and would like to share.

Furthermore, I found myself with very little time to write lately. This week, I had to go to the hospital many times with Baba. Nothing to worry about; doctors are keeping a close eye on him because of his VSD.

I also joined several linkies and found myself commenting on so many other blogs. Even if it’s time-consuming, I have to admit that I really like it. Not only I met many other fantastic mummy bloggers, but I never ever had so many visits on the Frenchie Mummy Blog! Merci! I also received some great comments. Being a perfectionist, I insisted on replying to everyone or at least made it clear that I read their thoughts.

As a consequence, I didn’t have much time to write. So here we go, the first ‘Une photo, une histoire’ for you this week.

I hope you will enjoy as much as my other posts and I will be back soon, blogging for good ?!

Eh oui! The first post in this series is about Baba. Here is the story behind it.

We had to go to the hospital to have an ECG. Both Baba and Maman were in a good mood. Baby was fed and cleaned, Maman didn’t miss the bus. It was sunny. Super!

As usual, the babe made a sensation at the cardiology unit, where everyone in the waiting room gazed at his beauty. No need to say that the beast was well pleased with his effect. ‘Blondie’ got his ECG done and off we went home. I stopped by the loo to change him before leaving the premises. Well organised the mummy, right?

Oui mais voilà, we were waiting for the bus to get back à la maison when Monsieur decided that he was hungry (when he was actually NOT due a feed). So guess what I did? No, you are not mistaken. I fed the milk monster at the bus stop. Obviously, the bus arrived the minute I started. I had to pack away all the stuff illico presto to get on and started again the whole process on the bus. Easier said than done… Baba also wanted to look at the trees, the clouds and everything!

Eventually, we managed it. As the babe was very curious and I was not up for a tantrum (let’s be honest, if I tried to put him back in his cot after such excitement, it would have been une catastrophe). Mauvaise mère, I know but I could not cope with a baby crying on a public transport.

En plus, it’s good for him to practise to sit up. So I put him on the seat and he was Happy as Larry!

Regardez moi, I am a big boy on the bus!’ Not need to say that he was checking everyone, waiting for compliments to arrive…

That’s it! I hope you liked it. I said it would be a short post, but it ended up being longer than expected. Quelle surprise! I told you I am une vraie piplette and I love blabbering ?.

What a cutie, I’m pleased everything went well. Linkies do take time, but they’re so much fun to take part in. I join about 5 a week now as that means I can comment on plenty more than I used to when I joined dozens. It all got a little over my head at one point! #kcacols

I love this post, especially the picture. I love that you mix in french words, I used to speak french when I was very little. Thus many years ago 😉 Of course it was Canadian French so …lol My son is learning and he loves it, I might be returning to attempting to teach myself in the fall. Either way. Great job! #KCACOLS
