Brightplaybox Review and Giveaway – A new competition on the block!

Yes, you are not dreaming! Frenchie Mummy gives you another opportunity this week to win a fabulous prize! How exciting! If you missed our last competition, pas de panique! it’s still on. Just click here!

This time, you are in to win a fabulous box full of toys that help your little one meet their milestone through play. Scroll down to the end of this post for a chance to win!

The concept of Brightplaybox is simple. You receive a box adequate to the age of your little one and the lovely package is full of toys that will help them develop.

Each box is chosen to help stimulate and encourage your child’s development in line with 5 key development areas:

  • their movement
  • their hand-eye coordination
  • their learning
  • their communication
  • their social and emotional skills

I was delighted when Brightplaybox contacted me to review its products.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s not like Baba doesn’t have toys. He has a lot (too many?). I am sure you can relate to this. All the family is super excited because your bébé is cute, funny, gorgeous, playful…

Your parents, your auntie, your brother, your sister, your friends, your colleagues, your neighbours… Everyone is spoiling them! So much indeed that you have to make space and therefore, clean up your handbags and shoes’ collection …

Do you find yourself lost in this myriad of baby toys? Me too! And how to be sure that they are adequate and will really help your baby develop? You have such a large toys’ choice on the market, you don’t really know what to get…

But Brightplaybox is very special.  You won’t have this issue! The box is personalised so that it fully meets your child’s needs. You also have different subscription options so that you can choose the one that suits you the best.

So, why do Frenchie Mummy (and Grumpy Boyfriend ultimately…) love Brightplaybox?

First, the box is carefully packed and you have a (so cute!) personalised note inside. I have to admit that I was chuffed when the parcel was delivered. It was funny actually. The delivery man could not say Baba’s surname properly (it’s Frenchie and quite difficult to master for English people. You have no idea what students came up to in my school). It made me giggle! But it was also fabulous to see Baba’s name on the box. His first official parcel!!!!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
A very happy baby!

Not only you have fabulous toys, but you also have a development guide in it. It gives you so much info!

You can find out:

  • What skills individual toys will help develop
  • Important milestones that your child is going to experience during this period
  • Tips to support their development
  • Some important new stages that they will have (it’s linked to the toys you received really)
  • The aspect of how their social and emotional development will go
  • A detailed description of each item and ideas of how to use it
  • Some fun and easy home-made play ideas

You are amazed, right? You wish you were a toddler again… Wait to see the items we got!

  • A set of Squeeze blocks

These bright, squishy, squeaky blocks feel great and can be used in many different ways. At first, Baba was just happy to put them in his mouth and taste them, like pretty much anything.

dsc_0084-collage
The first test! The ultimate decision…

Mais, they can be used in the bath. It can also help le bébé to crawl (encourage them to pick them up) and even strengthen their fingers and hands. Later on, the different designs on each side will help Baba to practise colours, numbers, animals and shapes…

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
So many colours, designs and shapes! Where should I start?
  • A Bead Maze

Baba is fascinated with this item. He loves banging it (for the noise), moving the beads around the maze.

dsc_0185
Let’s bang it first… Not bad!

It will also help him discovering colours when he is older. It’s great for kids to develop hand-eye coordination but it also gives your little one some spatial awareness understanding. In other words, it’s multipurpose (like any toys in the box)

dsc_0184
Super busy! DO NOT DISTURB!
  • Activity Balls

Baba loves the different activities in them but also the structures and colours. He enjoys observing them while he experiments for minutes.  Hurrah! Frenchie Mummy can blog a bit without being worried about him being bored after 10 minutes. When I feel a bit more generous, we can play with them together for hours! He tries to catch them, we make them roll on the floor… Those toys also stimulate his senses with colours and sounds.

I didn’t have my own pics! Too busy playing with them!
  • A Maraca and a Rainmaker

Talking about sounds, I don’t know about your toddler but Baba loves this kind of toys! The noisier the better!!! He particularly likes the fact that he is controlling the sound! The pictures talk for themselves…

  • A Book

I love this one! The teacher in me is speaking here. It’s full of different textures and Baba can also learn animals. Grumpy Boyfriend is great at making noises and actions to describe les animaux when he used it with bébé. You can be sure that he is always giggling!

Le verdict: We are in love with Brighplaybox! It’s fun and hassle-free to go to the shop and think about what to get for your child. So don’t resist!

  • The toys are carefully selected so they help your toddler’s development
  • Only great toys, books and sensory activities make it into each one
  • It actively helps to stimulate their senses and make them discover the world
  • The company works with the best brands possible so you don’t have to worry about the toys’ qualityscreenshot_4
  • Each box will contain items to develop a maximum of their skills: no need to transform your living room into the next toys’ shop!!!
  • Each game will continue to be used in the future

BrightPlayBox is the perfect gift for parents and parents to be! Treat someone you like today. You will certainly find something to please a lovely child!

Disclosure: we were sent this BrightPlayBox for the purposes of a review. All opinions are my own. I would like to say a massive Merci to Lisa and Phil for getting in touch with us to review their fabulous products!

It’s obvious that they are passionate about it. We are delighted to support a business like theirs! As you can see on their website (there is also a blog! Check it out!), they created BrightPlayBox after having their gorgeous little boy. They are not only a brand, they are parents like you and I!

Do you want to try? It’s on us! Simply enter our giveaway for a chance to win your personalised BrightPlayBox here!!!  Click on the link below. The competition is only open to UK residents. Bonne chance!

What an amazing company to have discovered! I’m So keen to try their boxes – I always struggled to know what types of toys were best for my first son at the different early ages! This winning box would therefore be perfect for my second bubba, due to be born any day! Fantastic giveaway!

I love educational toys as kiddies are little sponges that soak up all the knowledge, so the Brightplaybox is a fabulous idea.
