5 ideas to celebrate Father’s Day in style

Mother’s Day is well over now! I was spoilt with a lovely trip to London. Baby free, Grumpy Boyfriend and I explored the city again like we were tourists. My other half did it large: a very posh meal, followed by some shopping and a fabulous show in the evening with extra cocktails in a VIP club. Did I also mention our stay at one of the most prestigious hotels in the capital? Frenchie Mummy is showing off vraiment… So how could I make it up? I thought hard and long about it. Here are my 5 ideas to celebrate Father’s Day in style with Grumpy Boyfriend this year. You might like some of them.

A boys day out

This first present is probably the most generous. Grumpy Boyfriend going out for the day with his mates. Imaginez! No baby (Frenchie Mummy is taking care of Baba), a lot of drinks and no mummy either! I bet you Grumpy Boyfriend would love that. All the boys could go to our local motor racing circuit and have fun speeding around in the sun. Feeling a bit more adventurous? Then they can carry on the day paintballing. Happy to leave my man doing so without me. I am not a big fan of speed and I hate being dirty!

A camping trip

I know what you are going to say. I called this post ‘5 ideas to celebrate Father’s Day in style’ and I am now talking about camping?! But what about a posh camping? You know, the one with a nice bungalow and a jacuzzi? Not with a tent! Frenchie Mummy did that in France 6 years ago and she was not very impressed! Grumpy Boyfriend was in his element, doing a fire, putting the tent, cooking cans food… L’horreur! But he used to be a scout and is very adventurous. So if it makes him happy… Once more, Frenchie Mummy will not be joining in as she hates camping! Well, I am yet to try glam camping. It could be more me…

A rooftop party in London

Something I would be more than happy to join in! There are a lot of events management companies on the web that can create the most amazing party ever for you! Le rêve! You click, you pay and they create it all for you! All you need to do is drink and enjoy it! I decided to go for a rooftop party as the weather is gorgeous and we would have an amazing view of London, but I reckon a Boat Party would be as nice!

A Whisky Tasting Event

David Beckham is a member of a very selective whisky club.

Exit David Beckham! Here comes Grumpy Boyfriend to the whisky club!

Mon homme has exactly the same suit and is equally distingué. Furthermore, Frenchie Mummy could easily pretend she is Victoria Beckham. Pas de problème! I will ditch the leggings and the old jumper and will turn myself into a princess. We will go to the best whisky club in town and drink all night. We won’t get drunk! Remember, we are celebrating Father’s Day with style!

A day at home with the best video games!

The last of my 5 ideas to celebrate Father’s Day in style is definitely ma préférée. Quite frankly, I think that all Grumpy Boyfriend wants is some ‘me time’ with his video games. Le plus? To have peace and quiet and really enjoy it, Frenchie Mummy would have to leave the house. And what do you think she would be up to? She would probably meet up with a girlfriend for some shopping and some fabulous food! Alright, I admit! I would probably finish the day with some vin… After all, why Grumpy Boyfriend should have all the fun!? It would be a bit unfair…

That’s it, folks! I hope you got some inspiration reading 5 ideas to celebrate Father’s Day in style!

I would love you to tell me which one I should go for! You have until the 18th June to share your opinion with me! The idea that will receive the most votes by the 11th June will be the winner! I will actually listen to my dear Frenchie readers and go along with what you said! Who said Frenchie Mummy was boring? 🙂

I love this, you are very generous with your ideas!! I think he would probably enjoy the day out with his mates the most, and can never tell you that he doesn’t get to go out with his friends! I think I would go to the whisky club by myself if it meant bumping into David, ha!
